About this event
Celebrate the beauty, stillness, and hope of the winter season with A Solaria Solstice, an immersive holiday concert unlike any other. Presented by Orlando Sings and featuring The Solaria Singers, the organization’s professional chamber choir under the direction of Dr. Andrew Minear, this popular annual concert explores themes of light, reflection, and renewal inspired by the winter solstice- the longest night of the year. Blending contemporary and traditional choral music with poetry and moments of quiet reflection, A Solaria Solstice honors the rich traditions of Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanzaa while celebrating the season’s universal spirit. Set in the intimate auditorium at the Orlando Museum of Art, this concert invites audiences to slow down, connect with one another, and experience the warmth, wonder, and joy that emerge even in the darkest days of winter.
