7:30 PM

Why go

A Beethoven program paired with Caroline Shaw's Pulitzer-winning The Mountain that Loved a Bird and selections from Vivaldi's Gloria, all part of the Resonate Festival. Expect orchestral and choral music, a good pick for classical fans and newcomers alike.

About this event

The program also features Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw’s moving The Mountain that Loved a Bird, a tender and imaginative work inspired by a children’s story, alongside selections from Vivaldi’s radiant Gloria, one of the Baroque era’s most uplifting choral masterpieces. This Classics Series concert is also a part of this Season’s Resonate Festival, curated by Music Director Eric Jacobsen. Take part in a celebration of one of history’s greatest composers with concerts dedicated to Beethoven’s genius and influence on the classical canon.
