Cracking Open A Cold One - December 2026

About this event

Join us for another hysterical and wild night of original comedy with a few fully staged brand new, ten minute plays, featuring all Orlando talent from the writers to the actors. This event gets our amazing Orlando talent up and moving, doing what they do best— Being creative. No red tape. Nothing in their way. Just making theater with friends. The catch? They were written less than 24 hours ago, with random plot details provided by audience submissions from social media, so like… what could go wrong? The writer? Exhausted. The rehearsals? Nonexistent. The actors? Definitely buzzed. This is theater in its rawest, ridiculous form, taken like a shot of your favorite liquor. Born from our successful online series, we invite you to Come laugh along and crack open a cold one as we crack open a cold one- Live! A bar will be available with drinks for purchase, and we highly suggest you partake. Makes the whole experience better. Trust us. It’s part of it. Refer to the parking map to be sure to park in the CORRECT AREA. The Fashion Square Mall doors are locked from other entrances. *Parking Map*: newgentheatrical.org/parking New Generation Theatrical is funded in part by United Arts of Central Florida, your local agency for the arts.
