When
6:00 to 8:00 PM

About this event

Dice, simmer, bake, go! In this five-part hands-on cooking series, we’ll sharpen your skills with essential culinary techniques to make your time in the kitchen more joyful. Through engaging demonstrations and simple recipes you cook and taste yourself, you’ll learn the reasoning behind the technique so you can start improvising with ease. Students may choose to purchase single classes, or attend all five at a bundle rate. At The Kitchen House, we build community around sustainable, whole foods by enjoying a communal meal we all cooked together. Sharpen your confidence in the kitchen with this hands-on introduction to essential knife skills. In this foundational class, you’ll learn how to choose the right knife, practice safe cutting techniques, and master key cuts such as the dice, slice, mince, and chiffonade. Guided by our culinary educators, you’ll work through a series of recipes designed to build speed, precision, and comfort with kitchen knives–then taste the fruit of your labor! Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to refine their everyday cooking skills.
