Exhibition “Dream Doodle Cosmology” by Grey W. Sturgill

About this event

Sturgill describes her creative process as an exercise in spontaneity and individual interpretation. “Doodles are my freehand and free thoughts. They are any-direction drawings with no specific patterns, designs, or desired outcomes,” she explains. “The pen wanders and produces the finished composition. Dream doodles allow for any interpretation as perceived by the observer.” Sturgill has explored various artistic disciplines over the years, including etching, printmaking, copper relief, yarn and fiber crafts, and painting. She has also completed coursework in architectural drafting, graphics, and printing, bringing a diverse range of creative experiences to her artistic practice. “Dream Doodle Cosmology” will be on display through November 17, 2026 in the Multicultural Art Gallery. The Orange County Multicultural Center (7149 W. Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32818) is open weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except for holidays. For more information, please contact Dawn.Knight@ocfl.net.
