About this event
Experience one of the most beloved Christmas traditions in the English-speaking world at the Cathedral’s Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. Originating at King’s College Chapel in 1918 and now broadcast annually to millions around the globe, this treasured service tells the story of humanity’s redemption—from the Garden of Eden to the birth of Christ—through nine scripture readings interwoven with glorious choral music and congregational carols. The Cathedral Choir and Choristers present a beautiful selection of familiar Christmas favorites alongside inspiring seasonal anthems, inviting all to experience the beauty, hope, and joy of the Christmas season in this timeless Anglican tradition.
