Holiday Textured Painting Workshop

About this event

This experience is designed to nurture both your creativity and your spirit. You’ll be amazed at what you can create! Textured Painting Workshop - Holiday Edition Instructor: Sonja Marshall Explore the fun of texture painting! In this class, you’ll learn how to sculpt shapes and designs directly onto canvas using an artist medium similar to frosting with tools like palette knives and brushes.

After a demonstration of techniques each student will spend the rest of class completing a painting. Choose any design that speaks to you… from flowers to modern abstracts and holiday favorites. Paintings will be finished in all white, which helps us focus on composition, design and technique. Color can be added at home after it dries completely and I’ll share different methods to achieve stunning results. • Beginner-friendly • All materials and tools are supplied • A paint brush and paint will be provided to take home and turn your creation red or green with yellow accents. • 11 x 14” textured canvas to take home • Children 14 and older are welcome to attend when accompanied by a parent - both must purchase tickets.

Whether you’re seeking a soulful escape, an inspiring date with friends, or a new artistic skill, this experience is designed to nurture both your creativity and your spirit. You’ll be amazed at what you can create! Registration includes admission to the beautiful gardens before class.
