In the Making: Foundations in Art & Design
About this event
In the Making: Foundations in Art & Design showcases the creativity and exploration of Valencia College students as they develop the fundamental skills, concepts, and techniques that shape their artistic practices. Featuring work from foundational art and design courses, the exhibition highlights the process of discovery—from early experimentation and creative problem-solving to the development of personal artistic voices. Join us for the opening reception on Thursday, January 21, 2027, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the UnionWest Downtown Gallery (Fifth Floor, Downtown Campus). The exhibition will be on view January 21–February 19, 2027, with gallery hours Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public.
