Kelly - Scott Jazztet "Artfully Christmas"

About this event

The quintet features award-winning jazz vocalist Lisa Kelly, known for her smooth, intimately pleasing tone and relaxed, intuitive song phrasing, a la Diana Krall, Ella Fitzgerald, and Renee Marie. Warburton Signature Trumpet Artist, JB Scott, finesses his trumpet and flugelhorn lines with the lyrical, witty, versatile flavors of Freddy Hubbard, Clark Terry, Louis Armstrong, and Chuck Mangione. The dynamic rhythm section includes Jeff Phillips on keyboard, strings and guitar, Corbin Schmid on upright and acoustic bass, and Clyde Connor on drums. Career backgrounds of these artists include the Larry Elgart Orchestra, the New York Pops, the St. Johns River City Band, Walt Disney World theme parks, leading the legendary Dukes of Dixieland, to drumming with the renowned Navy Commodores in D.C, while mentoring 1,000’s of next generational aspiring jazz musicians. They’ve collaborated over the years to record and to perform on stages regionally to internationally, often to repeated, sold-out shows, for jazz clubs, jazz societies, corporate events, and private affairs, to jazz festivals.
