About this event
In The Gifts of the Magi, a financially-struggling young couple in love each want to surprise their spouse with something special for Christmas, her beautiful long hair and his family heirloom watch hold both the key and the conundrum. Meanwhile an overly confident and likable bum tries to get arrested in order to find a warmer place to sleep than the park bench. The struggles of these less-than-wealthy characters contrasts with the opulence of the New York’s finest restaurant and retail stores, while the citizens of the city enrich the performance with their singing and dancing.
