Visualizing Global Narratives through History, Memory, and Material at The Alfond Inn

About this event

Drawn entirely from The Rollins Museum of Art’s Alfond Collection of Contemporary Art, this exhibition explores a range of global narratives: stories and histories rooted in diverse artistic traditions, experiences, and practices, and the materials and techniques through which these works reference and rewrite shared histories. The selection invites viewers to learn from others’ experiences and to encounter our shared humanity. On view at The Alfond Inn, the exhibition is organized by The Rollins Museum of Art and curated by Dr. MacKenzie Moon Ryan, Professor of Art History at Rollins College, with Claire Classon ’27 and Ana Ortega ’27. Exhibition text is provided by art history capstone students enrolled in the Fall 2026 Museum Studies Practicum.
